Biography
Afterwards, comprised of four 18-19 year olds, was born out of a small Italian town near Venice in autumn 2013. Federico Dal Bianco (Guitar and choir), Carlo Turatello (Bass and vocals), Lorenzo Busellato (guitar and vocals) and original drummer Jody immediatly set about creating their first EP "12 | 12 / Twelve-Twelve" which was published in December that year. The EP can be found on their Bandcamp and all tracks can be found on their Soundcloud.
After 6 months of playing gigs in their local area, the band headed back to the studio to record a new 4 track EP. With the help of producer Maurizio Baggio, known as one of the best producers in Northern Italy, 'Rage' was created. But, despite the early success of the band, Jody decided to leave and Michele was recruited as the new drummer. 'Afterwards' then entered the 'Controradio Rock Contest' and, along with 36 bands out of more than 500 they reached the semi-finals. They also reached the regional finals in the 'Arezzo Wave' contest.
In early 2015, the band started writing more new songs and, after searching for a booking agency, joined the Yummy Truffles Collective. Following this, they decided to finally release 'Rage' in May before having to put everything on hold for their exams. But now they’re back with more fight then ever, planning a mini tour in the south of Italy whilst on the lookout for an English and Italian label so they can release 3 singles over the remainder of the year. Their music contains a mix of influences, mainly drawn for the underground British scene and bands such as Peace, Foals and Sundara Karma, making their music a gritty mix of these sounds.
